Our Inspirational High School Curriculum

Our high school in Bergamo is divided into two distinct phases. In the first two years, students complete the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP), before moving on to the DP for the final two years.

The DP curriculum is a challenging, stimulating IB programme that builds critical thinking and analytical competencies. The flexibility afforded at this level allows students to engage with a broad academic offering and develop a personalised programme of study that mirrors their personal interests and goals for university. 

The IB Diploma Programme is fully recognised in Italy and abroad, having been officially recognised by the Italian Ministry of Education since 1987 (Ministerial Decree No. 128, dated 10/04/1987), and is accepted by universities worldwide as a rigorous and comprehensive qualification for higher education.

Language Immersion in Our High School

All high school diploma students actively engage in language development to gain fluency, build confidence in their communication skills, and extend their cultural and historical knowledge. Immersion in languages features prominently in IB and mirrors our mission of world-class international high school provision in Bergamo: students take all the subjects in English.
